RETURNS, EXCHANGES, & REFUNDS FAQ

Refund Policy

Refund Policy updated 6/21/2025 for clarity and concise wording. 

This is a concise overview of our return policy. For more information about how Festival Drip handles returns, refunds, and exchanges, please read and understand our entire policy below or contact us.


Before Starting a Return

Before starting your return, we recommend reading the returns and refunds policy in full so you have a better understanding on the returns process and what to expect.


Return Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a full refund, items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in their original packaging with tags still attached. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. For online transactions, your order number will work as a receipt. To start a return, your order needs to fall within the 30 day returns period listed below.  (see exception for EU customers)

Items that are opened, used, or in a condition that is less than new are still eligible for return and partial refund. See the Return Fees section for more information.


Return Period

You will have 30 days to initiate a return, starting on the date your order was shipped. After the 30 days returns period has passed, we are unable to start your return. Any requests made on our self-service returns page will be automatically denied. 


European Union 14 day cooling off period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Return Authorization

No returns are accepted without prior approval via our self-service returns page listed below. Do not return your order to the return address listed on the shipping label. We are not responsible for packages lost due to unapproved returns. 


Start a Return

Any customer whose order meets the Return Eligibility Requirements may initiate a return through Festival Drip's Self-Service Returns Page here.


You will need your order number and zip code to initiate a return. Both can be found in the original email you received after placing your order. 


Returns and Refunds Processing Time

We typically receive returned items 4-5 working days after they are received by the carrier. As soon as we receive your returned item, we will begin processing your refund or exchange. 


Notification of Refund

You will receive an email notifying you that your refund has been processed. Please check your span folder to make sure than emails sent from support@festivaldripofficial.com and Ryan@festivaldripofficial.com are not automatically filtered. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure they can receive important correspondences from Festival Drip.


Store Credit

Unless your return meets the requirements listed in the Cash Refunds section, all returns will be refunded in the form of store credit. Once the refund has been processed, the value of your return will be added to the same Festival Drip account used to place your order, minus return fees. Store credit never expires and can be used just like cash to purchase any item sold on Festivaldripofficial.com except for gift cards. Store credit cannot be redeemed for cash value. 


Eligible Return Fees

The customer will be responsible for all eligible return fees unless their return meets the Cash Refund Eligibility requirements listed below. 


Cost of Return Shipping

All returns are subject to the cost of return shipping. Return shipping is paid for by the customer and will be deducted from the amount of their refund, not to exceed $4.99. Unless otherwise specified by the customer, all returns within the U.S. will be issued via USPS First Class Shipping. Return shipping in countries outside of the U.S. will vary depending on the most affordable shipping option with consideration to the total weight of the items being returned. 


Value of Damaged Returns

Items that are returned in any condition other than new will have the amount of lost value deducted from the total refundable amount. ["other than new" defined as items that appear to be visibly damaged, worn, visibly used, or in a condition that prevents resell at their full value, as determined by the Returns Officer who receives and inspects all returned items.] ["amount of lost value" is the different between the normal retail price of the returned item and the used condition resell price based on current market prices of similar used goods, as determined by the Returns Officer.] 


Cash Refund Eligibility

In order to receive a cash refund for your return, it must meet one of the following requirements:

  • Defects. Item has a manufacturer's flaw or defect that was not caused by the customer or during shipping. An example of a manufacturer's flaw is the graphic printed on your item is smudged, blurry, or misaligned. 
  • Received Wrong Items. The items you received are not the same items listed you ordered. 


Customers returning Cash Refund Eligible items will be given the option of replacing their items with new ones at no added cost, receiving a full cash refund, or receiving store credit. We may still request customers return their cash refund eligible items using a return label provided by Festival Drip at no cost. 

If your order falls under any of these categories, please contact us immediately at Support@festivaldripofficial.com or 260-FEST-DRP [260-337-8377] with your order number and photos of the items you received so that we may resolve your issue as quickly as possible. 


Replacement Orders

If the customer chooses to replace their Cash Refund Eligible items with new ones, the replacement order will be manually created at no cost by contacting Support@festivaldripofficial.com. Customers will receive shipping notifications for their replacement order just like a regular order. Replacement orders will be shipped via USPS First Class if located in the U.S. or using the most affordable shipping option available if the customer resides outside of the U.S. 


Expedited Shipping on Replacement Orders

If you need the items in your replacement order for an upcoming event, please let us know so that we can arrange expediated shipping on your replacement order before it's created. Upon request, we will ship replacements items to the customer using any requested express shipping method, but only if the request is made before the replacement item is processed for fulfillment. If expedited shipping is not requested, all replacement orders will be sent via Standard Shipping (USPS First Class in the U.S.)


Replacement Order Expedited Shipping Fees

When requesting Expedited Shipping on a replacement order, the buyer is responsible for paying for the additional shipping costs of expedited shipping that exceeds the cost of Standard Shipping. A support representative will work with you to find the fastest, most affordable shipping rate to get your replacement order delivered on time. We work with you to find a flexible payment option that's most convenient when it comes to covering the cost of Expedited Shipping for Replacement Orders. Once we confirm payment for express shipping, your replacement will be processed accordingly. 


Cash Refund Processing

If a customer chooses to receive a full cash refund for the items in their Cash Refund Eligible order, they will receive a full refund on the retail value paid at the time of checkout. All Cash Refunds are processed back onto the original payment method used at the time of purchase. You will receive an automated email informing you that your refund has been processed.


Cash Refund Processing Times

On average, you can expect to see the funds from your refund back in your account within 2-5 business days from the time you receive the refund email notification. This all depends on how fast your bank is with processing refunds and is not something Festival Drip has any control over. Call the phone number associated with the payment method you used for the refunded order for more information about your refund and their refund processing times.  


Refunds on Out of Stock Items

Although we've recently implemented a new system to help us maintain accurate inventory levels, one of the unfortunate inevitabilities of operating one of the largest festival clothing online stores in the U.S. is that it's not always easy to maintain perfect stock counts. Occasionally, a customer may order items from this website which are currently out of stock. If this happens, the customer will have the following options:

  1. Select a Replacement item of up to 20% more than the retail price of the original Out of Stock item (Recommended)
  2. Receive a Store Credit for the amount of the Out of Stock item
  3. Receive a Cash Refund for the Out of Stock item
  4. Wait for the item to get restocked (No Recommended)

Selecting a Replacement for Out of Stock Orders

Customers can take advantage of ordering items that are out of stock by selecting a replacement item worth up to 20% more than the retail price they paid for the out of stock items. 

For example, if you purchased a rave outfit set for $75 and it turns out to be out of stock at the time of purchase, you can replace it with any item worth up to $90 for free. 

The reason we recommend customers choose an item to replace the ones that are out of stock is because we 

 

A customer service representative will contact you if your order contains items which are out of stock to discuss your options and suggest possible replacements that work best for you.

 

Resolving Other Issues with Orders

Festival Drip has a long history of resolving issues that benefit the customer. We pride ourselves on our fair, fast, & friendly customer support resolutions.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

For the convenience of our customers, Festival Drip has revised and reduced the our list of items that are considered Non-Returnable. However, in compliance with local and federal regulations, we are legally unable to accept returns on Non-Returnable Items. If the item you purchased falls under one of these categories, all sales are final.

  • Gift Cards
  • Perishables, such as food
  • Consumables, such as supplements
  • Body paint, Glitter, Body jewelry
  • Digital Products, Downloadable Files
  • Bathing suits, Swimwear
  • Underwear
  • Costumes
  • Adult Toys
  • Custom or Personalized items
  • Cosmetics, Personal Care, Beauty Products
  • Anything containing material that is flammable, hazardous, or compressed gas

Use this mnemonic when shopping at Festival Drip to remember which items can be returned and which cannot:

"If it touches your junk, your refund is sunk / If you can't hold it, you now own it."

 

Non-Returnable Items Amendment; 6/21/2025


After further review of California compliance regulations (Cal. Civil Code § 1723.),we have decided to amend our list of Non-Returnable Items. 


Starting 6/21/2025, the following items will be removed from our list of Non-Returnable Items and re-classified as Returnable in Original Unopened Packaging Only.


Returnable in Original, Unopened Packaging Only

  • Leg Warmers, Leg Wraps, Stockings, Thigh Highs, Pantyhose
  • Rave Bottoms, Booty Shorts, High Waisted Shorts, Thong Back Bottoms
  • Rave Tops, Bikini Tops
  • Bodysuits, Rompers
  • Lingerie & Lingerie Sets
  • Sleepwear, Teddys, Chemise, Robes
  • Patches
  • Pasties 

In order to return any of the items listed above, they must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Tags still attached
  • Still in sealed, unopened packaging
  • Undamaged in any way
  • Unused in any way
  • Not altered from the original
  • In new condition

We may request photos of Returnable in Original Unopened Packaging Only items prior to issuing a return label and authorizing a refund. If items in your return fall under this category, but are opened return we receive that fall under this category

 

SIZE EXCHANGES

Size Exchanges will be handled according to our Size Exchange policy.


DAMAGED ORDERS & DEFECTIVE ORDERS

In the rare case that the order you receive is damaged or defective, do not take it out of its original packaging. Contact us at Support@festivaldripofficial.com immediately and we will replace your damaged item at no charge. 


HOW MUCH WILL MY REFUND BE?

We do not charge restocking fees. A refund in the form of store credit will be issued for the full price paid by the customer at the time of sale, minus a small shipping fee not to exceed $5.99. Search your email for the original invoice to determine how much your refund will be.  


HOW DO I RECEIVE MY REFUND?

As soon as your refund is processed, you will receive an email notifying you that store credit has been applied to your account. You may log in and immediately use your refund credit toward your next purchase. Store credit is as good as cash and can be used to purchase any item or pay for shipping on your next order.


I NEED MY NEW ITEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE FOR AN UPCOMING EVENT! 

The fastest way to get what you want is to reorder with us online, then return the unused / unworn item with tags still attached for a refund, less the shipping and restock fees.


WAIT! I WANT TO CANCEL MY ORDER!

The moment an order is placed, it is sent to our production team and we start working on your order. This is why we are unable to accept cancelations once an order has been processed.


That being said, there is a very small window after immediately after you place your order that we might still be able to cancel it for a full refund. It doesn't hurt to ask, but keep in mind that we work fast and once an item is created uniquely for you we are unable to cancel the order. 


CAN I RETURN AN ITEM ON SALE?

Most sale items are eligible for returns. You’ll be refunded the amount you paid for the item. 

When a sale or clearance item is NOT eligible for refunds, it will be clearly labeled as such in the product description.
